NATURAL RESERVE

In 1991 the VERDES HORIZONTES natural reserve arose, located in the farm la praderita in Belalcázar (caldas). We decided to leave a large part of our land for the conservation of the fauna and flora of the region. Currently within the forest there are a wide variety of animals, birds, plants, insects and fungi.

Thanks to this initiative, we are part of the Network of RESNATUR, www.resnatur.org.co (Red Colombiana De Reservas De La Sociedad Civil). Through this network we contribute to the conservation of biodiversity and its ecosystem services, sustainable production and development.
